You are Guaranteed to Improve!
Section 1 - Scales
Practicing Scales is very useful for guitar players because it helps you learn how your instrument works. It also helps you improve your accuracy and finger strength. These exercises turn scales into little songs to make it more interesting. We start with the G Major Scale, and eventually cover other common musical keys such as C, D, E, and A.
Section 2 - Fingering and Picking Techniques
We focus on the "one-finger-per-fret" idea. This gives you lots of exercises to increase the strength and flexibility of your fingering hand, as well as increasing the accuracy of your picking hand.
Section 3 - Chords
For most guitar players, playing chords is what it's all about. We give you a framework for learning to work with the most important chords. This is called the 1-4-5 Method and shows you how to play in the most important keys with just a few chords.
Section 4 - Playing Along with Simple Songs
In this section we focus on strumming and changing from one chord to another - "transitioning". This is the most difficult skill for new guitar players. You will also learn how to strum chords in specific patterns.
