Focus on playing along with the melody. Try your best to use the correct fingers on different frets. First finger on Fret 1, 2nd finger on Fret 2, etc. Spend at least 15 minutes trying to master this song.
Print versionThe melody of Happy Birthday is a little more complicated than many simple songs. So adding chords is not as straightforward. Here I have kept the chords to a minimum, and tried to avoid playing D4 on the D chords (which is used a few times in the melody). Chords don't have to be full 5 or 6 string. Two or three strings work as well.
