
2. Playing the D Major Chord
The D minor Chord is the "5" chord for the key of G. This makes it a very important and often played chord. Most beginners find it difficult to squeeze all three fingers onto the 2nd fret, but, as always, it comes with practice. You might also try holding down the three strings with just two fingers - usually the 2nd and 1st. Definitely make this chord part of your regular practice routine.
